If I have an image in the cache, and the image on the web server is updated, I will see the new image load and then the old image replaces it. The example URL is an animated GIF updated hourly to show the last twelve hours of doppler radar maps. I had the previous nights file loaded up to watch the snow storm hit Toronto, and reloading the file in the morning showed the most recent twelve hours images load in, but then the animation reverts to the original animated GIF in the cache. I'm pretty sure I have seen this with normal images as well as animated ones, and I believe the same problem exists on Linux too.

Ksosez, I hope you do not mind, but I think this is not necessarily a dup (maybe a side-effect, but then it's dependant). I am sending this over to networking:cache and their QA can resolve as dup if they want, but i'd rather be sure. It might be a dup of another bug though.
