Details
You can list out the contents of the .xpi archive (even before unzipping it). In
UNIX, do an "unzip -v". It would be useful seeing the .xpi contents (or .jar or
.zip for chrome installs) *before* the install actually occurred.
One possibility is a list viewer in the "Confirm" dialog. All the files with
their names, time stamps, and sizes could be listed. (and as more advanced
features, some indication where it would be downloaded, and the ability to
choose which files to download! ;)

Removing "download" from the summary -- we have to download to get this info,

The xpinstall script engine has been removed from the trunk, bugs in it are obsolete.
