I think this is a dup of bug 5029. That bug was about the beta version of hotbot's new design - I think it is up now. The site uses browser sniffing and depends on Nav4 bugs. See bug 5029. I think this should be resolved as invalid, but I'm not going to do it now, because I'm not sure.

The particular bug with the logo has to do with carried out margins. Hotbot is wrong. They should remove the margin-top: 40px on .redBox1 and change the padding on .srchCol from 0 0 12px 6px to 40px 0 12px 6px. Marking RESOLVED-INVALID, just like 5029.

lets not mark these as invalid or close them out. reassign to ekrock. he is developing a plan to contact these sites and evagelize content changes on key sites to take advantage of 5.0. we need to load his task list for doing this and tracking progress on site upgrades.

OK... In that case, what they are doing with the "SELECT" button is impossible using CSS. I would recommend making the DIV width: auto (as it is in the NN4 version, but not the IE version) and then making the SELECT display:block and width: auto. (Does that work yet???)

I emailed Paul Boutin at WebMonkey about this and he forwarded it to their site team. They can use the updated client sniffer at http://developer.netscape.com/docs/examples/javascript/browser_type.html to sniff and generate conditional content for us.

Hotbot has changed its site recently. Mozilla now renders Hotbot.com almost exactly like IE 5.0. I'm changing this to fixed.
