Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.74 [en] (Win98; U) BuildID: 2001010404 When trying to open a local file which doesn't exist, the engine sometimes crashes or locks up, sometimes it's still possible to use navigation, but the display window is dead. Thinks work again if it's possible to navigate to another site. Tested under Windows 98 (worse results (more crashes)) and Windows 2000 Professional. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter a non-existant local file-path, like file:///c|/asdf Actual Results: Sometimes complete crash of the engine, sometimes lockups and sometimes still useable navigation-, location- and menubars but the display-window below is dead. Expected Results: Display (either with a popup like in Netscape 4 or with a page like in IEX) an error that this file couldn't be found.
