I frequently have friends who have accumulated many email addresses. Some, like my school friends, immediately have two addresses (name@u.school.edu, name@dept.school.edu), as well as a gmail address, maybe others. In order to accommodate all those addresses so that incoming messages are recognized as being from friends, I need to fake up multiple contacts with the same names, just to stash the extra addresses. It would be nice for the address book to support arbitrary email addresses per contact. One potential way to handle it without having to change the address book schema would be to let the "Additional Email" field support a comma-delimited list of addresses. Then only the code that populates the compose window's auto-suggest dropdown would have to split the Additional Email field on commas before making its suggestions..
