Due to decreased Maemo support, would like to focus on Android downloads on the /m page
*Remove Maemo download button on /m so that there's only one button to download Android version
*Add Maemo download link in FAQ under "Is Firefox available for my mobile phone?"
This section should read:
Firefox is available for download on Google Android 2.1 and above. Download the latest version of Firefox for Android by visiting Firefox.com/m on your phone or directly from the Android Market [hyperlink to https://market.android.com/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox]. Firefox is also available for download on Maemo [hyperlink to http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-mobile-6.0&os=maemo&lang=multi]. See a full list of Firefox supported platforms and devices. Please check back for regular updates.
Firefox Home, our free app for the iPhone, is also available for download through the App Store. Firefox Home synchronizes your Firefox desktop history, bookmarks and tabs with your iPhone. Learn more.
*Note: Need to implement for en-US and all locales
cc'ing Pascal and Stas to advise on the l10n component, added to future, pending next steps on localization (does a separate bug need to be filed?).
Target Milestone: --- → Future
there hasn't been an official statement on Maemo yet, so keeping it confidential until further notice

Jaclyn,
As you move forward on this, keep an eye on this page: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/
which reads: Get Firefox for Maemo by visiting Firefox.com/m on your phone. It will also need to be updated to reflect copy and a link to the location where Maemo will live on.

Will be removing Maemo download button completely for Firefox 8 release, since Firefox 7 is the last supported version

Summary: [Mobile] Remove Maemo download button and add to FAQ → [Mobile] Remove Maemo download button on /m
Hi Laura - Also need a milestone for this update as well for the Firefox 8 release
For the purpose of the Firefox 8 merge and discontinuing Maemo downloads, I don't think it needs to be dependent on Bug 687385.
Can we take what we have from Bug 687381 for this?

Hi all, will this update go in time for the Nov 8 merge? Since we will be no longer offering Firefox on Maemo it's important we remove it

Yes, I code for this from a version of this page with one download button (Android only) for a previous A/B test. I'll get it implemented on Monday.
