Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows 98)
BuildID: 20010217
When I install it and try to run it, it won't work.
I'm using a Compaq Preasario & has most of the hardware fuctions (on/off
buttion, etc.) tied into Win 98.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Download
2.Install
3.Attempt to run
Actual Results: Mozilla box icon pops-up, but never does a web browser
appear. And I've let it sit for over an hour. It worked on my pos that I had
until not too long ago.
Expected Results: Maybe have a browser pop-up?
I'm using version 0.7, but has had the same problem with every version
produced, including nightly builds.
please run depends.exe [dependencywalker.com] and filemon.exe
[sysinternals.com] using full logging for mozilla.exe
also, please attach a list of all running processes [if you don't want to
mention a process, kill it and try again]
suspicious apps include DirectX, Sound related, and hung DDE.

You can try as well to delete everything that is Mozilla-related on your
computer : old installs, profile directories (usually called mozilla in your
windows directory), and mozregistry.dat and mozver.dat that live in your windows
directory. This usually fixes this kind of problems.

on startup it opens 6 Threads, then stops ( still showing splash screen)
