This is a real strange bug that has been plaging me for a long time now. But I was never able to reproduce it at will so I could never file a bug report on it. I finally figured out how to reproduce it. Under certain conditions, when I bring down a menu item (e.g., edit) and then bring down a submenu under that (e.g., wallet), I find that I'm unable to make any selections on the submenu. In fact, the submenu appears to be dead -- it displays on the screen but you can't use it. You can't even get rid of it by moving the cursor of it -- you have to back to the original menu (edit in this case) and select some other submenu in order for the dead submenu to disappear. OK, here's how to reproduce it. Bring down the edit menu and then move the cursor straight down to the text that says "wallet". At this point the wallet submenu will open up. But now don't go horizontally from the "wallet" text to the wallet submenu -- instead go down at an angle and do it quickly. Real strange but it is reproducible if you move the mouse as I described. I tried doing the same thing with a 4.x browser and this problem does not occur.
Reassign to chris for fixing.

This might not be a duplicate of 5815 because 5815 clearly states that it doesn't occur on a windows machine whereas this bug definitely does occur on windows. Also 5815 says that it is hard to reproduce whereas with the instructions given above I can reproduce this bug every time.
My bad, this is a dup of 5927, not 5815

Yes, I agree, it sure looks like a dup of 5927. And I shared paulmac's frustration from that report in finding the right way to describe the steps to reproduce the bug. I had the same difficulty when I wrote up this report. I'm marking this bug as a dup of 5927 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 5927 ***
