The url https://secure.advance-bank.de opens a popup windows where you can enter
your personal number and your pin for home banking. After that you must press
one of the two buttons, which are not shown. With Netscape 4.7 and Internet
explorer 5.0/5.5 the buttons are available.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Open url https://secure.advance-bank.de and wait for popup to load.
Actual Results: Two buttons are missing
Expected Results: The two buttons must exist, because there's no other way to
login.

Hmm. They try hard to obscure their code. Probably cause it is really horrible.
But nevertheless I found what's going on ;)
They serve us special code for Netscape 4.x (using layers). The buttons have
visibility:hidden and some of them are shown if ( document.layers ).
Somewhere on the page must be an additional 1x1px submit button, but I cannot
see it.
You can use this code as a workaround:

No, they didn't reply. Last week I tried again, using their feedback form at
https://banking.advance-bank.de/index2.html . I mentioned my previous mail and
this bug, but got no reply yet. I'll wait another week before marking this
wontfix.

There is a work-around. Log in via my.advance.de, where they have a different
login-screen with all the buttons needed. They definitely know about the
problem, and that's the solution they offer. Everything else so far regarding
this website works very fine with Mozilla.

my.advance.de is not only a workaround, it is their newly developed user interface for banking, brokering etc. It is (as far as I can see) fully Netscape6/Mozilla-compatible. I'm pretty sure the old interface isn't developed or maintained anymore, so I'm not sure how to resolve this. While the original page is still broken (and won't be fixed), there is a completely new one which was developed with Mozilla-support in mind. I'm marking this WONTFIX, just reopen or re-resolve if you disagree. :-)
