VERIFIED DUPLICATE of bug 3690

People

Details

With any Macintosh OS, apprunner 1999052008 (or whatever) Steps to reproduce: 1) Rename your hard drive to something with a '/' character in it. 2) Launch apprunner. RESULT: Apprunner begins to launch, then quits before opening anything. This appears to happen because internal path names are delimited with '/'.

John, I know you worked on the "special directory/path" stuff and this is a Mac thing, so can you have a look at it. I've pegged it at M7, figuring that if it was crucial for M6 we'd have heard about it before now.
