with my Mac debug mozilla build from today, I am crashing when I do the following: * in urlbar enter: americawest * click on a link [crash] I expect not to crash. Don was also able to reproduce this crash. I think this is a regression caused by Marc's checkin yesterday afternoon.

Brade, is this really a smoketest *blocker*? I'd say it is critical. I wasn't able to reproduce this.
I think its bug 71155 and/or bug 71185

Marc--here is the stack trace from bug #71155
OS: Mac System 8.5 → All
Hardware: Macintosh → All
Likely from checkin of bug 70730, which I sr='d. Marc may not be available today (he's somewhere up here in MV, but I can't find him), so I think it should be okay to back out his changes from bug 70730.
this blocks using jrgm's page-load tests, so yes, it is a blocker.
Marc *is* working on this... I think he is hunting around for someone with a tree. I pointed him to leaf.

http://www.4anything.com/ will reproduce the crash on Win32.
backing out attinasi's change fixes this for me.
Ok, changes for bug 70730 reverted.
