User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:8.0.1) Gecko/20111121 Firefox/8.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.5 Build ID: 20111121045514 Steps to reproduce: Expanded all data on this page: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/System-Restore-frequently-asked-questions Actual results: Attempted to Print Preview the page and saw that the information is not spanning over multiple pages, just on the first page, and thus the information is cut off. This also happens on these pages as well: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/295659/ http://www.colorconsole.de/PS_Windows/en/Get-ComputerRestorePoint.htm Expected results: I expected the information to render on multiple pages so that I could print all of the data.
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:12.0a1) Gecko/20111224 Firefox/12.0a1 SeaMonkey/2.9a1 ID:20111224003001 When I make my browser window narrower, the first page mentioned (didn't check the others) doesn't wrap, it is cut off the right side of the browser window. This looks to me like a bug in the (particularly hard to read) HTML in the page, i.e. a Microsoft bug, not a Gecko bug, which would make the bug INVALID except maybe as a Tech Evang bug (and good luck for evangelizing Microsoft!); similarly I suppose for other pages. Neil, what do you think? P.S. Merry Christmas everyone.
Component: General → Layout
OS: Windows XP → All
Product: SeaMonkey → Core
QA Contact: general → layout
Hardware: x86 → All
Version: SeaMonkey 2.5 Branch → 8 Branch
P.S. Scott: Try printing in "Landscape" orientation.
I see a normal first page, and then a blank second page, and nothing else. I couldn't understand the page layout either, but perhaps the mix of absolute and relative positioning might be confusing the print preview code.
Landscape makes no difference. Also, the printed results are identical to what I see in Print Preview.
