We do not need to expose this in the CCK wizard. However, this should be something that an end user can change through a pref.

This appears to be only a documentation issue. The UI does not currently allow the CCK Wizard user to change the install path.

This will be documented, since it's not part of the CCK wizard. Reassigning to Tina, who's documenting manual customizations to the Installer. We will document how the CCK user can manually change/lock the install path from the default location.
