-send an html message with japanese encoding
any japanese in the text is not renedered correctly by the receipient.

Tracy, could you send that message to nhotta@netscape.com?
Tracy, try to set the mouse focus NOT on the mail body before you click on
Send. In that way, you can send.

I also had a problem of sending messages but once I sent it's sent out properly.
Japanese shows fine on my machine (used debug build pulled this morning).
Did you set a charset to ISO-2022-JP before you sent?

i just sent a reply to nhotta and myself...it worked fine
