After using the new email tech, and setting field/recipient options to filter out some notifications, I'm now getting duplicate notices of bug changes. I have global option set to not email me for bugs I change, plus some boxes checked, and some unchecked field/recipient options in each category (bug owner, reporter, etc). The duplicate emails are identical, sent at the same time.

Some changes were just checked in that change the order of how email addresses are added to the list of people to be mailed. Bugzilla.mozilla.org has updated. Can you let us know here if this is still happening now?

Reopening, I've been seeing this numerous times over the last week.

can you attach examples? (including headers?) What bug numbers has it been happening on?

74445, 73102, 73106, 74762, 71900. I just noticed though, that the messages are identical, including the message-id! That is supposed to be unique, right? Perhaps this is actually due to a problem with my MUA filters putting two copies of the same message into a folder?

That is correct... if it's getting the same message ID, then it's the fault of your MUA or some MTA between bugzilla and you. That wouldn't be Bugzilla doing it then.
