Steps to reproduce:
I tried it because firefox doesn't have any problems with this subject.
Actual results:
It doesn't work.
Expected results:
It should work, because firefox does it also.

Do you mean an umlaut in the name or in the Domain ?

Hi,
I mean the domain. "Umlaute" are existing since 2004 and since today they didn't work in TB. Ok, it is possible to use "...@xn--umlautdomain-r4a.de", but this is a joke...

Ok, I did not find this, sorry. But, I've read that this bug was described in 2004. Now, we've got 2012! Is it time to change my email-programm?
