Reading mail and quitting crashes, taking out networking on the machine, reboot required

I can't get the exact steps, but quitting the app after reading mail and
deleting mail crashes in OT, taking out the machine's networking. a reboot is
required.
(CurStackBase does not seem to apply...dumping 4K.)
