to reproduce, load tempMessage.eml into viewer (attached to the bug report) click on "View complete card" and you should see that the two vcard buttons jump to higher up in the message body frame. this works correctly on windows. I've also attached a screen shot of what it looks like on Linux.

I've attached the files I mentioned. rich, if you think this is layout, and not mime, please re-assign it.

in viewer, I still get strange layout weirdness. but in apprunner, vCards (attached to text message or part of html messages) seem to work fine. alecf recent changed something about the message pane. (no iframe anymore or something?) that could explain why viewing tempMessage.eml in viewer has problems, but in messenger, it seems to work. adding alecf to the cc list.

This is a problem with the buttons being laid out for vCard display on Linux. Seems to be fine on Win32 but are way off for Linux.

Attached message crashes apprunner 1999-09-29-12-M11 on Windows NT4sp5. It doesn't crash viewer (same build), but when I "View Complete Card" it does not repaint correctly (covering the window fixes it). When I "View Condensed Card" again I see both the complete and condensed cards. Resizing the window or clicking the buttons again does not solve it. Attaching snapshot.

it looks better. if my message completely fits in the message window, and I click on "View Complete Card" followed by "View Condensed Card" (and repeat) it looks good. if the message doesn't fit in the window, and I have to scroll down, then clicking on "View Complete Card" followed by "View Condensed Card" (and repeat) can do weird things. I'll mark this fixed, and log a new bug against a layout person about the new bug.

Using 19991105 build on linux I tested this by saving a message (that had a vCard) in the .eml format, then viewing it in the browser. I clicked the View Complete Card button, all looked OK. I clicked the Add to Personal Address Book button and it was OK too. Verified.
