Contribution Form faxed to Marcia Knous at 2103.

When you say "installer internationalization issues" do you mean localized
content, or something more? If it's more, then
The hacking doc at http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/reviewers.html describes how
to get CVS access.
You'll need a voucher to comment in this bug. If you'll be working on things
other than internationalized content, then you'll need the super-reviewer OK as
well.
Marcia's out until Wednesday. if you get the neccessary comments from others in
this bug before then, we'll ask leaf to create and activate the account. I will
get the faxed form to Marcia when she returns.

else.
2) This is for bug 42902.
3) Tao, can you be the voucher? Thanks!
Hi, Ying:
Would you enumerate the directories you might modify via this account?
thx

mozilla\xpinstall\wizard\mac for now, and mozilla\xpinstall\wizard\windows
later, thanks

can we see some patches of the kind of work that's going to be done? I'm not
comfortable giving access on the blanket "just internationalization work"
statement. Installers are highly visible points of failure.

You can find the Mac patch in bug 42902, which got reviewed and super-reviwed
already, and the Win32 patch is quite similar. But if you still do not feel
comfortable with giving me the access, you can just close this case, I can find
someone else to check the patch in.

Ying-Lin: Should this bug remain open - do you still want CVS access?

Yes, I do. But don't know yet what's my next step. I will keep tracking this
after the current RTM work. Thanks.

Dan, can you look at patches? thanks
Comment 13•23 years ago

I only see a couple patches from last spring, not much to go on. On the other
hand XPInstall could really use a thorough cleansing from an i18n file
standpoint so I don't want to discourage help.

Right now, I have another small patch to fix an installer problem, need to
checkin.
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67067
Later on, I will work on some other parts, like l12y/i18n bug fixes, not only
the installer.

Yes, yes, I still need the cvs account. And now, I'm working on the localization
file check-in, ie, generate all translation from Netscape product, into Mozilla
language pack files, and then contribute to Mozilla!

Hi, Marcia:
I am the module owner of "mozilla/l10" and have priviledge to grant write
access to "mozilla/l10n". Would you please grant the CVS write access to ying
so he can check in files into mozilla/l10n.
Hi, Ying:
Please limit your write access to "mozilla/1l0n" until you get extension to
other modules via the normal process.
thx

Account activated. Ying-Lin: Make sure to confine your checkins to the
mozilla/l10n area. Thanks.
