The preferences for cookies, images, passwords, forms should appear in the preference trees under Privacy and Security rather than "Advanced" now that PSM is in the preferences. All these options are for how and how much information about themselves people want to disclose. The image pref might be used by people on slow connections to block images, but I suspect most will use it to limit ads, etc.
