Details

New to nightly 2001041409, worked fine in yesterday's build. All attempts to send mail result in "Sending of message failed" when the "Send" button is clicked.
I have the same problem. This occurs if you have on the outgoing server (SMTP) the option, "Use secure connection (SSL)," set to "When available" and the SMTP server doesn't have encrypted transport. Quick workaround is to set use SSL to no. This has happened to me continuously since the psm2.0 package went into the nightly win32-installer package. I couldn't submit reports with mozilla since the form interface went nuts. The proper behavior is for the package to request secure, if fail and non-encrypted transport ok, then request unsecure transport. Unfortunately, I feel that after the first failure, it doesn't retry unencrypted. Regardless, can someone mark this confirmed... for Win32 as well...
This is almost certainly a dup of bug 74387. Even the workaround is the same.
Yes, that works. It looks like a duplicate to me. For some reason, my nightly builds no longer have the psm bundled with them, so https has stopped working altogether which is rather unfortunate. Is is a seperate download again?
