Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open a web page in the browser 2.Move the mouse wheel up and down Actual Results: Combo boxes scroll but the web page doesn't; even web pages without combo boxes don't scroll. Expected Results: The browser window should scroll using the setting in either the prefferences contol or using the windows default. I have a MS IntelliMouse Optical USB/PS2 using the PS/2 port. Windows 2000 with all the updates. The mouse wheel works in other applications.

i think that's the wrong bug. i would have marked this as a dupe of the generic no support for driver bug. but from the bug you picked, here's a better phrasing of my the question for the reporter: does mouse control panel have a checkbox to "Use Office 97 Compatible Scroll Only." And is it checked? (i think you should check it)
