The Mac builds on this page do nothing when selecting Tasks>Tools>Java Console: http://www.mozilla.org/releases/ Neither this build - ftp://sweetlou/products/client/seamonkey/macos/8.x/ppc/2001-04-24-08-trunk/MacMo zillaFullInstaller.sea.bin This build DOES activate the java console: ftp://sweetlou/products/client/seamonkey/macos/8.x/ppc/2001-04-24-08-trunk/mozil la-mac-trunk.sea.bin

Obviously the builds on the releases page (currently that page only goes up to Mozilla 0.8.1) will not respond to the menu item, as bug #6872's fix hadn't been checked into the MRJPlugin yet. You can, however, use later MRJPlugins with those Mozillas to get around that. From http://homepage.mac.com/mrjplugin/, for instance. The bug that I see is that depending on the build, or sometimes even between launches, the Java Console menu item might be grayed out. I assume that 'sweetlou' is some internal Sun address, so I'll not be checking up on those builds.
Terry, now that bug 6872 is fixed, is this one still valid?
I don't check every build, but it works fine on my 5/10 trunk build. Marking as WorksForMe.
