I seem to remember that we didn't have process control in win32 perl, and that was blocking us from running tests on win32 tinderboxes. jrgm has process control in his page-loader tests, not sure if we are blocked anymore.
Just need the 'Win32::' standard modules (from Activestate), and you can launch processes, kill them, etc. There are some issues with doing classic Unix style pipe redirection, although I believe there is an emulation of 'fork()' in perl 5.6.0 on win32 which may ease the transition.
Isn't this...fixed?

Umm, mcafee, you opened the bug; you tell us if it's fixed. :) We have runtime tests working but we're still missing parity with the unix builds on a couple of counts, namely page-loading tests & embedding tests. Anyway, over to jrgm.
