Steps to reproduce:
Tried to send an email as normal through SMTP server of ISP.
Actual results:
Occasionally I receive a 'Too many open connections' error from the SMTP server. When this happens the email editor window is closed and the email moved to the sent folder as if the mail had been sent, which it hadn't (I checked with the receiver). So now I have to carefully watch every email as it is sending as the server error pop-up is only on screen briefly, and if I see it manually resend the email.
Expected results:
Prior to version 14.0 update, the server error caused a pop-up indicating the email had not been sent and the editor window remained open.

Problem was reproduced in bug 780124 and reply code was not relevant, so closing as DUP. If different problem, re-open this bug, please.
