4/30 04 Win98 Using this build, I have yet to see the throbber stop throbbing in the mail window. Scottip says his doesn't do this, what can I look at that would explain it?

I'm not seeing this problem with 2001-04-30-04 on win98.

I see this after a delete of multiple messages, not after a single delete. It could have to do with the changes I made for delete of multiple local msgs, I suppose, though I don't see how.

I think my fix for bug 76501 is going to fix this, mostly - I think the fact that we were loading multiple messages quickly was causing this spinning (I base this solely on the fact that something changed to cause an assertion when we delete multiple messages, deep in the load group code, and also that running with a fix for 76501 has made this problem go away for me. Clicking on messages quickly could still cause this, however.

Has this improved now that David has checked in?

I'm cool again on the 5/07 04 build. Throbber stops quickly on my NT box.
