Using build 1999061208
Go to the above URL, the gif that says 'news flash' is an animated gif. Problem
is that it has a lot of trouble loading it. It will load everything on the page
including a frame of the animated gif, then it will stop (it says document:done)
and start again a few seconds later loading the next frame and dispplaying it.
This appears to continue indefinitly. I have found that is has the same problems
on sites that use animated gif's for ad's, which in some cases can cause the
page to not load properly or cause other images to not load (A prior bug I
sumbited about images not appearing on startrek.com may be being caused by this)
In 4.xx it will load the enitire animation
then play it, so I assume thats what is supossed to happen.
When I copy the image(flashani.gif) locally and open
as a view-image, gecko has no problem with the image.
But it doesn't animate when I view the page.
