From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9) Gecko/20010505 BuildID: 20010505 Should I make note the above page does not display properly with Mozilla? There are many features in PowerMarks which could be included into the bookmark manager. This program is keyword based which is easier to manage large lists of unrelated items with; you set it and forget it. Both IE and NS directory based systems require a lot of up keep. It also has the automatic search for errors and changes which has to be *deactivated*. It is not uncommon to get around 3-5% 404 in a 1000 bookmark file; and this is another issue with both MS and NS; the "junk" that collects. How many programs have been created just to solve that problem? What I would like to recommend is something radical: Change the Mozilla bookmark manager to a keyword based system and make it a separate open-source java program which Mozilla uses. If intuitively designed it could be come the de-facto standard. Netscape was redesigned what about the bookmark manager?
Feel free to create an add-in that supports this third party system, but Mozilla will be keeping its current system for now.

Note however that if there are features you like in this third party tool that you would like to see in Mozilla's default bookmarking system, feel free to file RFEs for those items.
