I was viewing <a href="http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52458">bug 52458</a> and thought they would reopen this bug and extend it too the win32 platform but nothing has been posted about the bug since last December. On my computer when I try to use the scrollpoint all I get are a bunch of beeps which is consistent with what happened to the person who posted <a href="http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52458">bug 52458</a>. The driver that controls the trackpad and scrollpoint is called Synaptic Touchpad. I don't know if anywork is being done on this bug, but it would **** off a lot new laptop users if they couldn't use there scolling type device with mozilla.
