Details |
1. go to Settings -> Date & Time
2. set to Set Automatically
Expected: something to show timezone
Actual: nothing that states the timezone being selected.
In fact there's no place that the time zone is shown so there is no way to verify that you have the correct time zone unless you set it to manual use.
Note:
usability issue. work around is to set manually and then check.

Dears,
precondition: the sim card support NITZ.
1 when I set to set Automatically, the system time updated.
2 But when I turn off set Automatically, the system time and timezone go back to the manually set value
Can you check with it and file a bug for that? Thank you!

sorry for miss-ni!
Hi, please take a look the latest data & time format spec. When set automatically, time zone area should reflect the current location, thanks!

Let's put it in backlog.
For implementation we need consider
1. "geolocation off" case when user opt not to enable geolocation. therefore we don't know user's current location.
2. The geolocation/region-city mapping data might be huge. Do we allow to get that info from internet during operate the settings menu?
3. If we allow to get mapping data from internet, we have to check the current time zone(via NITZ) & current city are matched. If not, we need to have a default setting.
