I don't think this crash is due to the reason you suggest. While the name of "Users50" was changed to "Profiles", the location of the registry was not changed. 6.0.1 would make default profiles in "Users50" and current builds make default profiles in "Profiles" Wherever they're made, these profiles co-exist in the same registry. Also, your test case seems a little arduous and convoluted. Can you make this happen with less installations? If it takes all this to cause the problem, this is an edge case to say the least.

Don't think this has to do with the registry or profiles.
