Go to http://www.zdnet.com/eweek Look at the "Top Stories" section on the right. It is rendered underneath the ads section further right and gets obscured. This renders correctly on Windows but not on Linux.

Confirming on 2001052608 Win2k, setting OS=All and over to Layout. Maybe this is a dupe of bug 82946.

Odd thing is I have never see this problem on Win98 (with this page, at least), only on Linux.
confirmed on Build ID 2001091903 does NOT happen on Build 20010824 both builds on Windows 2000

eweek and zdnet no longer seem to partner, so the original cause of this bug is now lost. therefore, worksforme :)
also, since the initial reason for filing the bug now no longer exists, doesn't mean the bug doesn't exist.
