From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.17 i686; en-US; rv:0.9.1) Gecko/20010607 BuildID: 2001060713 After installing the java plugin, xpicleanup starts once I try to restart the browser. It does not die on its own, and mozilla will not run until i kill it. Even then, the java plugin is not installed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to java.sun.com, get prompted to install java plugin. i go through the install process, and get a successful message. 2.Close the browser, and try to restart, getting "The program must close to allow a previous installation attemp to complete. Please restart." 3.I checked that xpicleanup was running. If I kill xpicleanup, I can restart the browser, but java isn't installed properly; another visit to java.sun.com results in another prompt to install. 4.If I don't kill xpicleanup, it does not die on its own (I've let it run up to 3 hours with no resault, the process stays active, and I can't run mozilla util i kill it) Expected Results: xpicleanup should terminate after completing its task, allowing the browser to run with the successfully installed plugin
