[Font system] You get the font download dialog (asking you, if you want to download the font suggested by the website), even if the pref "Allow sites to use other fonts" is disabled. Compare bug 86525.

Come on. Reproduction: 1. Enable pref "Use my fonts only". 2. Go to a site which offers downloadable fonts. Actual result: Dialog box appears, asking, if you want to download the font the website offers. Expected result: No such dialog, no download.

Come on yourself, don't ask everyone else to duplicate your discovery of this. Provide complete information to reproduce, or the bug may be marked invalid. What website are you experiencing this problem on?
spam: over to File Handling. haven't changed the current owners, but i did take qa contact for the nonce. pls do retriage/reassign if needed.

trudelle, I don't know the URLs anymore, sorry. It's Windows only, so I can't try at the moment either. I thought that the developer who implemented this feature would have test URLs.
Sairuh, do you know a reproducible case for this?
no, mainly since i'm not familiar with sites where there'd be downloadable fonts. that is, off the top of my head. :)

Sending to Roy Yokoyama, who appears to have implemented the "font package handler" which I think is the code in question. Roy, please reassign if I'm mistaken about this. I'm kind of guessing because I've never heard of this feature before.

bill: I am the right person. :) I'll provide an URL. Any CJK pages should bring up the Font Download dlgbox if you don't have font to display the page. (for now it's only for Windows system) Though I think it's easy to fix; I need everyone's consensus on this. teruko/jennifer: what do you think? == cc'ing jennifer and teruko
