ubercaret is still seen on 0620..doing something weird like this...
steps:
add a bulletedlist with a few blank items
go to html source mode
now, where the blank item is, click with mouse inside the <li>/<li> and hit
spacebar 2-3 times
go back to normal mode and see it !

I'm not sure exactly where the caret should land in this case, there isn't any
leading text in the document, so the caret needs to snap to something -- maybe
to the left of the first character in the first list item.

yes, that's where the 4.x caret is placed after I load the saved doc.

duping this to 86927. Although you see the caret drawn differently in these two
bugs, it's really the same issue. We need a way to draw something like a
horizontal caret when we are between two block element boundaries.
