If you select the down arrow in the location bar, you get a list of recently typed in URLs. If you have more than will fit in the drop down, you get a slider along the right side of the drop down list. This slider is buggy in that if you right click on the slider to drag it, it does not move until you have moved the mouse about the length of the slider. After that, it moves as if you have just clicked on the slider. I'm not sure if it matters, but I'm using the modern chrome.
