A nice enhancement to the UI: provide a little button left of the location bar which clears its contents. Now the user can type a new url in the location bar. This is a particulary handy feature when running under the X Windowing System, because sometimes you may want to paste an url to the location bar, but prior to pasting it, you'll have to clear it. Selecting the text in the location bar and pressing 'del' already copied the cleared text to the clipboard, overwriting the previously copied url. Please note this bug has nothing to do with bug 64073.

Note that you can click in the location bar (don't drag the mouse or select anything), and type ^U (control-U), and voila - the location bar is cleared. This is actually an old Unix tradition (^U clearning the current input line). By the way, Konqueror does have one of those clear location bar buttons (an "X" symbol to the left of the location bar).
