Scroll wheel on newer MicroSoft and Logitech mice has no functionality. Works fine in most other win32 apps, where it manipulates the vertical scrollbar up and down. Am very used to it now and am missing it in Mozilla :)I am using the 9/17/98 daily build. -Matt Hargett (matt@darpanet.net) 9/24/98

If you build with VC5 or 6, it will work. VC4.2 does not have the needed libraries for this to work, and we don't have distribution rights to MS libraries. What compiler are we using Chris?
I've standardized on VC5. VC4.2 should still work, but is not supported.

VC 4.2 unsupported.

Old bug...marking Verified.
This resolution is/was nonsensical. If VC5 or 6 is being used, the MFC controls being used in the updated libraries should support this intrinsically. Re- opening.

Ok, this is pretty much implemented at this point. Marking resolved/fixed, please see other open bugs for remaining problems. Also, matt@use.net - Mozilla doesn't use MFC controls.

This works intermittantly. In today's build it is not working again. (tested with a Logitech 4-button wheel mouse) Build: 2000021509

Tested with Build # 2000052715 on Win 98 SE Works in 98 with MS mouse. It's been over 3 months since this was reported working intermittanly. Has anyone tested this on NT with a newer build?
Brian? This is a dead issue now, right?
I'd say this is dead, and we have other bugs on more specific issues on Win32.
