- Access a page containing a graphic that is animated.
- Observe that the CPU load goes up to 100%
- Think "Hmmm - must stop this silly animation".
- Discover this is impossible.
- Note that even when a new page is accessed that does not contain an animated
graphic, Mozilla's CPU utilization remains at 100% until the browser is
physically shut down and restarted.

What do you mean with : It`s impossible to stop animations ?
Do you mean : Stop with ESC or View/stop ?

Yes to both: Neither the ESC key nor the View->Stop option nor the
rightclick->stop options have any effect on animated images.
