User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130915030208

Steps to reproduce:

Open this site:
view-source:http://stcashunlimited.net/pages/ptp.php (WARNING! It has excess advertising, that's why I used view-source prefix to just see the code).

Actual results:

Firefox is very sluggish, it responses like every ~1s on Core i7 2.7Ghz, 8GB RAM with RAID SSD drives [Sony VAIO notebook], Windows 7 x64 Pro.
When closing this site firefox hangs for like 5-10 seconds!!! Most sites work normally, just few similar to this cause such lag to less or more extent.

Expected results:

The site should not lag, firefox should load it normally responding very fast and not hang itself when unloading this webpage. Or if site has potentian dangerous code that would prevent firefox from "acting" normally, the proper warning should be displayed or site should load partially only, to the point of browser responding as usual (or other appropriate method should be used).

Tested on Windows 7 x64 pro, Core i7 2.7ghz dual core, 8GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD6630M, dual-raid of SSD - mirroring (~300MB/s read/write) + NoScript Addon blocking that site, blocking google, blocking googleapis, jqury (so no script should cause this behaviour, just Firefox itself interpreting site code).

WARNING! SITE CONTAINS EXCESS ADVERTISING, IT'S RECOMMENDED TO RUN IT IN SANDBOX OR WITH GOOD ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE!

Please check the code, it's not very big yet it makes firefox unusable when viewing it and hard to close it.
Additional info:
- I meant RAID stripping, my mistake sorry,
- Even disabling images in about:config does not get rid of this behaviour.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 ID:20130915030208 CSet: 9366ee039645

I could not replicate this with an inferior computer config.
Try to restart firefox with addons disabled in a new profile, and see if this still happens.
The page seems to redirect to other document: redirect.php .

The correct way to properly check is to pass refid query having value of existing member nickname, there we go:
view-source:http://stcashunlimited.net/pages/ptp.php?refid=mrkrzych00

Still lags on new profile, especially when closing tab. It may happen so that it lags more when Firefox has more windows open - I normally use 3 with some tabs on the biggest 3rd one (I think I saw that behaviour a long time ago - Firefox suddenly lagging when having 3 or more windows open, not sure if that was altered since then).
So I tried your link in a new profile in safe mode(so no Adblock) and everything was fine. The site takes its time to load(or so firefox display by "spinning wheel"), and after 1 min. or so it opens a popup to a random site. But I haven't observed anything out of the ordinary.
Is it possible that you have a virus on your PC? Try please to switch Windows accounts or perform a virus scan and see if the behavior persists. You may have to create a new Windows account.
Nope PC is clean. Now the site stopped doing this, nonetheless it did, even with noscript blocking everything and images blocked. I'm now checking if something else tried to make firefox behave similar way for me. Maybe it's caused by firefox running for too long - I restarted when You wanted me to check with newly created profile but I think I got like 3 seconds lag when closing that site after waiting a while for it to open almost fully (in that new profile with everything reset). And no, I will not create new windows account, no problems with anything else there, PC is updating itself with windows updates, no windows problems reported whatsoever. I will let everybody know if I find out something more, these kind of bugs may be hard to find due to a lot of factors that may have caused it: browser open for too long (like 6h+), a lot of sites visited, site code changed (or one of the affiliates it "connects" to) during the file of a bug etc...
ok I found it, some random link to the site (googled) I remember causing the problem like this for me, first site to do it:

http://trafficad.biz/pages/ptp.php?refid=gaof200

I use noscript and during opening firefox is very laggy, as well as closing it hangs it for a while, this time it was 3 seconds (didn't even let it open fully, just was there for like 5s and it started to lag ff immidiatelly when opening).
Ok I did additional tests, after running clean profile the site did lag firefox while opening but not when I closed the tab, then I opened 2 more windows in firefox with google site, then it lagged a bit more and hanged for a second while closing, next I opened like 10 tabs with various sites in the first of window. It did lag while opening and did lag like 2 seconds when navigating to google search through google search bar next to address.

Is it possible that it may lag more when firefox is running for long and have a lot of memory cache entries? I think I read somewhere that ff shares site resources over all tabs, so won't closing such site (or even during opening it) cause lags because FF analyses the cache entries for matching data?

I state those questions because when I just reopened my normal profile the lag while opening was not that much (though a delay while switching tabs was visible, fraction of second but was felt :) and got only ~1 second hang when closing that tab.
