Overview Description: When the INPUT to a form is an image (such as <INPUT TYPE=image SRC="http://images.coastalnet.com/clipart/tmain-go.gif" WIDTH=60 HEIGHT=33 ALIGN=BOTTOM BORDER=0 ALT="Go">), the image loses its transparency value. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Go to http://www.coastalnet.com/ 2) Look on the left side of the page where the "Go" GIF resides. Unlike the pictures beneath it, the "Go" GIF has a white background rather than being transparent in that white area. In other browsers, such as Netscape Navigator 4.0, the image has a transparent value. Actual Results: An image with an INPUT value loses its transparent value. Expected Results: The image should retain its transparent value regardless if it's associated with an INPUT type or not. Build Date & Platform Bug Found: July 1st, 1999. Win32 (Win95)
