This goes to mailnews, although it possibly belongs somewhere else. (NSS? Necko?) I was reading bugmail, and talkback came up. I submitted the report, but I could still use the browser after that. The talkback report shows that we got SIGPIPE, and since I could use the browser afterwards, I'm guessing that something timed out a connection which we then attempted to write to. Also see incident 33025637, which happened which I was shutting down, so I don't know if the browser would have worked afterwards. I read mail using imap/ssl. I'll turn off ssl, and see if this happens again, but since it only happened twice, one week apart, not crashing may not mean much. Stack trace: Trigger Reason: SIGPIPE: Write on Pipe, with no one to read: (signal 13) Call Stack: (Signature = libc.so.6 + 0xe7322 (0x40573322) e00ffcf5) libc.so.6 + 0xe7322 (0x40573322) libnspr4.so + 0x1ce78 (0x401b7e78) libnspr4.so + 0xc42a (0x401a742a) ssl_DefSend() ssl3_SendRecord() SSL3_SendAlert() ssl_SecureClose() ssl_Close() nsSSLIOLayerClose() libnspr4.so + 0xb5f7 (0x401a65f7) nsSocketTransport::CloseConnection() nsSocketTransport::ClearSocketBS() nsSocketBS::SetTransport() nsSocketBS::~nsSocketBS() nsSocketBOS::~nsSocketBOS() nsSocketBOS::Release() nsCOMPtr_base::assign_with_AddRef() nsImapProtocol::OnStopRequest() nsOnStopRequestEvent::HandleEvent() nsARequestObserverEvent::HandlePLEvent() PL_HandleEvent() PL_ProcessPendingEvents() nsEventQueueImpl::ProcessPendingEvents() nsImapProtocol::Run() nsThread::Main() libnspr4.so + 0x1f3ee (0x401ba3ee) libpthread.so.0 + 0x6bfd (0x401d8bfd)
