To reproduce,
Got to http://linial5.fhcrc.org/moz.html
The page should have an olive stripe tiled down the left side.
click the link to see what the background image should look like
Always reproducible on macOS9 and MacOSX using 0.9.3 builds.
Works fine with Windows

another dup of bug 91034 ...
Temporary workaround : put a BGCOLOR attribute in the body too, then you'll see
the real background.
