Details

the above URL utilizes in-line frames. The in-line frame has several rendering issues: displays horizontal scrollbar, displays vertical scrollbar and is displaced to the far rignt of the window.

checked this page on the 10/19 build and it is still not rendering correctly.

I fixed frameborder=0 on <IFRAME> and filed bug 1176 which details that there shouldn't be a scroll bar on the <IFRAME>. There appears to be a table problem.

Severity: normal → critical
Priority: P2 → P1
Summary: in-line frames are not rendered correctly → in-line frames hang
the original problem reported here is a parser bug, bug# 1203 there is a related IFRAME problem that I see consistent hangs in the network code when trying to load the URL specified in an IFRAME on this page. This is completely independent of the parser problem that leads to poor layout. I've changed the summary and severity to reflect this hang. I've added rick potts to the cc list in case it's a netlib problem and not an iframe problem.
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
Severity: critical → normal
Rick may have fixed the hanging behavior already - I don't see it. There is still minor layout problem involving either tables or iframes. I have downgraded the severity to normal.
Priority: P1 → P2
lowered priority to p2
Summary: in-line frames hang → table with iframe not rendering properly
changed summary to reflect current state of bug.
See Bugs 1266 and 1754 as well; believe this to be same problem
Setting all current Open/Normal to M4.
