Details

When mozilla 0.9.4 is installed from rpm, starting it causes SIGSEGV. this should be problem with rpm package itself... step by step: 1) download mozilla-0.9.4-0.i386.rpm file 2) install using `rpm -Uvh mozilla-0.9.4-0.i386.rpm` as root 3) run mozilla using` mozilla` as regular user 4) mozilla doesn't start and SIGSEGVs i tried to uninstall package and install it againg, and...mozilla WORKED!
Sounds like it was installed over an older version which will give unpredictable results. Did you install over an older rpm version?
Sounds even more like what happens when Mozilla isn't run once as root first. The release notes explicitly mention this problem. Bugs on this are bug 42184 and bug 79520 (which is likely a dup of the former) Resolving as dup of bug 79520 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 79520 ***
