This enhancement request is needed for people who use several ISPs with the same computer (e.g. travelers with notebook computer). In 0.9.4, it appears that the mail client allow for only one SMTP setup per account (either use the default SMTP server, or use a custom specified SMTP server). People who use different ISPs with the same notebook computer faces the problem of changing SMTP server for outgoing mail. Consider the following scenario: I access always the same POP server for all incoming e-mails, this independently of the ISP I use at the time of the e-mail download. However, when sending e-mails, I need to use the SMTP server of the ISP I am connected to. This changes each time I use a different ISP (office ISP, home ISP, hotel ISP, etc?) Currently, Mozilla Mail does not offer a convenient way to create a drop down list of SMTP servers that can easily be selected when sending out messages. Currently, I have to go into the ?account settings? and either change the default ?global? SMTP server, or select a ?custom? SMTP server in the ?advanced account settings?. Each time I change ISP (which happens everyday, because my office ISP is different than my home ISP), I need to change this setting again. It would be much more convenient and user friendly, if a drop down list of SMTP server was available in the ?compose? window of a new message. When opening a new ?compose? window from an account, to start to write a new e-mail, the compose window should automatically select the last SMTP server used for the previous e-mail sent from that account. If the user has moved and connected to another ISP since the last message, the user will see that displayed SMTP server in the ?compose? window is not adequate anymore and the user will select the appropriate SMTP server for the current ISP from the drop down list. In the ?compose? window, the drop down list of SMTP server could be placed in next to, above or below the ?from:? field. Thank you.
