Since -turbo benefits slower systems the most but many slower systems don't usually come with lots of memory, it would be great if we have several levels of preloading for users to choose from. e.g. A pentium 133 system with 96MB RAM would be very happy if it can preload 5MB instead of 20MB.
No dupes found. Marking NEW. Reporter: In future, please use the Bugzilla Helper for reporting bugs: http://www.mozilla.org/quality/help/bugzilla-helper.html (among other things, it automagically adds your Build ID) Adding blocks: bug 75599.

Alex: enhancement requests are usually easier to read if they don't have steps to reproduce and build id's.
Jesse: In my opinion, I prefer the standardized format that the Bugzilla Helper format allows. And, Build IDs can be handy, in case the reporter is requesting a feature that was already added in a later build. But, this is all off-topic anyway ;).
OK, I got it. The build was 2001092208 running on Win2k SP2. Btw, is the Version field supposed to contain the build number?
Fan: To answer your question about "Version", the Version field indicates which version you're reporting the bug for. However, that field is not applicable for Mozilla, as Mozilla has a new version every day ;). And, thanks for posting your Build ID.

"preloading" is pretty much all or nothing and unlikely to change. The OS will swap out stuff you don't need and don't have room for.

Come on. We can't add a memory control to turbo so five people can use it.
