User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140518100332
Steps to reproduce:
Open about:preferences
Click on the right hand side on e.g. "Content"
Actual results:
The "General" page is still shown.
Disabling all plugins doesn't help.
Starting with a fresh profile "fixes" the issue.
Summary: Only the general preferences are shown no matter what I click on the right hand side → Only the general preferences are shown no matter what I click on the left hand side

go to about:config and set browser.preferences.inContent=FALSE

Do you have browser.cache.offline.enable in about:config set to 'false'? Bug 795764 is on file and should fix this issue.
