Is this by design? I've looked through the docs, searched groups.google and
searched bugzilla (Haven't checked source...) Can't find mention of a limit.

I should elucidate. I tried dragging from the bar, adding with the sidebar
button. I then moved the folder to a top level folder and tried the same.
The bookmark would go into an empty folder.

WFM on Win98SE, I got many folders with more that 30 bookmarks in them. Moz
trunk build 2001092403.

Found the problem. I had a bookmark folder copied from the Imported IE
Favorites. These bookmarks aren't actually imported, they are just interpreted
from the IE Favorites directory.
A copied folder will still point to the IE favorites directory and will
not allow you to change the bookmarks, but if you copy the bookmarks 1 by 1 you
will then be able to change the properties, but the bookmark will not function
(i.e. it displays the favorite file.) until you change the properties.
I suppose it would be nice-to-have if it would auto-import all foreign
bookmarks, but right now you can't even import a directory, just a single
favorite url.
