Details

The console tab provides a handy history of snippets entered by the user. It would be very useful to persist this history and not wipe it out when the page is refreshed. This would of course depend "Enable persistent logs" preference. (Chrome already does it)

Bug 943306 is about doing the same thing for the browser console.

How long do we want to persist the history? Session only? Across sessions? Should we keep a separate history per tab, or one big history from any toolbox?

I like Brian's proposal in bug 943306 comment 8. I also expect the implementation to cover both bugs, so we should probably dupe this one.
